Pesto is super quick and easy to make and a nutritional powerhouse. Make your own to avoid the inflammatory vegetable oils and additives so often in shop bought ones. - 100g fresh basil100g pine nuts or walnuts
- Pinch sea salt
- Juice of 1/2 fresh lemon
- 1 clove garlic
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Place all the ingredients in a blender, except the olive oil.
- As soon as you begin to blend, slowly pour in the olive oil until the pesto is at the desired consistency.
