5 Ways To Use Leftover Turkey
We tend to traditionally eat the breast with the roast but the rest of the turkey is delicious too and shouldn't be wasted.
Turkey is an excellent source of protein containing almost 30g of protein per 100g portion of breast. The thigh and leg also have impressive protein density. Protein in a meal increases satiety and aids in blood sugar balancing, something which is useful during the festive period when we perhaps eat more sugars than usual, whether that comes from alcohol, desserts, chocolates or any other sources!
If you ordered a large bird and have a lot left over here I give you 5 ideas so you don't have to keep eating the same meal all week!
Turkey Egg Fried Rice
Swap out the chicken in this chicken egg fried rice recipe. Filling and easy to make, the soy sauce and sesame oil give wonderful flavours to this dish. If you are adding cooked meat rather than raw add it to the dish towards the end of cooking just to heat through.

Satay Turkey
Delicious and extremely filling due to the additional protein and fats from the peanut butter. It is the combination of protein, fats and complex carbs that increases satiety making us feel fuller for longer. Serve with wholegrain rice.
